On April 12, 2016, with the initiative of the Permanent Mission, Amb Vaqif Sadiqov paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Canton of Geneva Mr. Francois Longchamp

During the meeting, parties expressed their satisfaction about positive relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Swiss Confederation. Opportunities for economic and cultural cooperation with the Canton of Geneva were also amongst the topics discussed. Amb. Vaqif Sadiqov expressed his gratitude to the President of Geneva for hosting our Permanent Mission as well as other significant number of key International Organizations in Geneva.      

At the end of the meeting.V.Sadiqov signed the honoured guest book of the palace and a memorial photo was taken.
